So today was absolutely boiling, I woke up, had a driving lesson and sat in the sun listening to my iPod. That's pretty much all i've done today. Apparently there's supposed to be rain for the next few days so..as much as I dislike the rain, it should hopefully clear the air a bit, because it's sooooo humid. I need a pool right now more than I need air to breathe it's that hot! Haha. I've got work tomorrow, I work as a hairdresser (..in training) at a little salon in the next village. To be honest, I hate the job sometimes. But it's something that i'll always have to fall back on incase what I really want to do doesn't work out.
I finished reading "The Celeb Diaries" (by Mark Frith) today. Only one and a half chapters left to read of it but I had left it so long next to my bed that I thought now would be the perfect weather to complete it. It's quite a good book and it's interesting to get the perspective of a person whos involved in creating the magazines that appear on newsagent stands across the country. I would recommend it to anybody who loves the celebrity culture or even someone involved in journalism.
Right, what else? I've got chilli cheese wedges for dinner tonight. Should be interesting haha
Oh I know, the death of Michael Jackson. How could I forget that? Totally shocked if i'm honest. Can't believe it is a week ago today. I was reading Perez Hilton's website earlier and they have confirmed the date for the funeral to be next Tuesday. I'm sure that will be screened around the world. He really was a master of his art. A complete and utter legend. And there will be nobody else like him. For all those pessimists out there who say "well that's what they said about Elvis" (which i've heard quite a bit) MJ wasn't like Elvis. They are two complete different generations of artist and have complete opposing musical styles and genres. Wow. That was some pretty clever stuff for me.
I suppose I better wrap this up. At the time of writing I have nobody in my friends list (or neighbourhood I think they like to call it on Vox, anyone?!) to actually read this or take interest. So I suppose I better try and get a following.
